Two arrested in meth lab incident in Calhoun

CALHOUN POLICE

Two People have been charged as a result of a found meth lab in Calhoun.

According to Calhoun Police, 36-year old Richard Thomas Skaja and 34-year old Amanda Jean Skaja have been charged following a found meth lab at their home in Calhoun Crossing Apartment complex off of Harlan Street.

On Monday, The US Drug Enforcement Agency based in Atlanta brought its HAZMAT unit to Calhoun after police discovered a makeshift meth lab at their residence.

Both have been charged with possession of drug-related objects, trafficking, manufacturing, and possession of meth.
