Alabama woman accused of selling meth

A 30-year old Huntsville, Alabama woman is in the Floyd County Jail accused of selling methamphetamine.

According to the arrest warrant, Victoria Lynn Busby sold the meth to a cooperating witness back on July 27 of last year at a location on East 20th Street in Rome.

Busby is also charged with possession of meth and possession with the intent to distribute.

Woman arrested after meth is found in a sock

A 29-year old Rome woman was arrested on drug charges after the vehicle she was riding in was stopped for no headlights on Maple Road.

According to Floyd County Jail records, April Lynn Barger of a Dodd Boulevard address gave the officer a marijuana cigarette and a small baggie of marijuana from her shoe.

The officer then found a sock containing suspected methamphetamine and a pipe that Barger had apparently discarded beside the patrol vehicle.

She is charged with possession of meth, less than an ounce of marijuana and drug-related objects.
