Report: Woman jailed after damaging property, injuring officer

A 23-year old Rome woman is facing felony charges after allegedly fighting and kicking Floyd County Police Officers.
According to Floyd County Jail records, Shanna Breann Crocker was originally arrested for damaging household items, including a flat screen TV, at an apartment she shares with another on Cave Spring Road.
As she was being detained, she allegedly began thrashing and kicking.
She kicked two officers about the legs, face and groin areas.
One of the officers was transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Crocker is charged with 2nd-degree criminal damage to property, three counts of felony obstruction of officers, two counts of simple battery against a law enforcement officer, and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
