Report: Woman threatened to kill woman and unborn child

A 37-year old Rome woman was jailed Monday, charged with terroristic threats and acts.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Margaret Shannon Vandevan, of a Rush Chapel Road address, stated that she would “t-bone” the victim, killing the woman and her unborn child.

The incident reportedly occurred at a location on Turner McCall Boulevard.

A 33-year old Rome woman was arrested Monday after allegedly threatening to kill a woman back on November 5.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Natasha Monique Ragland, of an Alma Road address, made the threat during an altercation.

She is charged with terroristic threats and acts.

 

Man charged with exploitation of the elderly

FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A Rome man is facing charges of exploitation of the elderly following his arrest Monday.

According to arrest warrants at the Floyd County Jail, 34-year old Cody Vann Ball, of a Maple Road address, took $250 from a 74-year old man’s account by presenting a stolen, forged check back on August 7 of this year at a local bank.

Ball is also charged with theft by receiving stolen property, 4th-degree forgery, and a probation violation.

 

Man charged with cocaine possession

FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A 55-year old Rome man was arrested following a traffic stop at Branham Avenue and Porter Street early Tuesday.

According to Floyd County Jail records, police found cocaine and a firearm in the vehicle.

Randolph David Reynolds, of a College View Drive address, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, DUI, running a stop sign and driving a vehicle with suspended, canceled or revoked registration.
